The Meridian Archer-Guard system is a worker safety barrier composed of three Archer 1200 barriers connected by six 4-feet arrestor cables. The Meridian Archer-Guard was designed to bring vehicles to a slow controlled stop in the event it passes into restricted areas where deployed. Each of the three connected barriers are designed to surround the vehicle upon impact and drag the vehicle to a stop using the weight of the test article as well as teeth that dig into the road surface.
