C900/Trans-21 (14" Through 60") PVC Pipe

Manufactured by Diamond Plastics Corporation

Diamond Plastics manufactures 14” through 60” Trans-21™ cast iron O.D. PVC pressure pipe in accordance with AWWA C900, Standard for Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pressure Pipe and Fabricated Fittings, 14 In. through 60 In. (350 mm through 1500 mm), for water transmission and distribution.

This standard contains manufacturing and quality assurance requirements for gasketed large diameter PVC pipe with pressure ratings of 80psi,100psi, 125psi, 165psi, 200psi, 235psi and 305psi.

This standard was originally published in 1988 and these products have quickly gained tremendous acceptance for water transmission, sewage force main and irrigation applications due to their tremendous strength, flexibility, corrosion free material and superior hydraulics.

Their corrosion free material and flexibility make them practically impervious to the kinds of water line breaks experienced by products of the past which corrode and break during spring thaw or other soil shifting events. This substantially reduces water loss as well as maintenance and repair costs.

Trans-21’s superior hydraulics decrease pumping costs over the life of the system. With numerous pressure ratings available it can be designed for actual pressures along the length of the line thereby reducing up-front costs as well.

These products are suitable for most pressure applications for which bottle tight joints and corrosion resistance are desirable.
