The 2400 series saddle has a shop coated ductile iron body with either alloy or stainless straps, with the "8" refering to alloy straps, the "6" to stainless straps.
The 2500 series saddle has an epoxy coated ductile iron body with stainless steel straps.
The 2706 Service Saddle is a Premium Saddle consisting of an AWWA Bronze Body with Stainless Steel straps. Preformed to the PVC or DI pipe size the bronze outlet gives superior strength for installing large services or for use when installing blow-offs or air release valves in your system. Highly recommended when corrosion is a factor.
All of the Robar Service Saddles are NSF 61 certified.
