Modified Slurry Seal, a surface treatment for existing pavements, is designed to exceed the Ontario Provincial Slurry Seal Specification (OPSS 337) with the addition of polymer modified emulsion and trap-rock or granite aggregate that meets HL-1 physical requirements (OPSS 1003). Application rates are substantially higher which results in a superior, more durable, skid resistant surface course that will withstand winter road maintenance operations.
