Centria Eco Sound Barrier is a light weight modern metal skin / composite core reflective wall system designed to reduce and serve as a barrier for road noise. It is the only highway product to be Cradle-to-CradleSM certified. The Eco Sound Barrier is made from 25% recycled material and is 100% recyclable at the end of its useful life. And at only 2.25 to 4.25 lb per sq ft, Eco Sound Barrier is much lighter than traditional precast sound barriers, requiring far fewer trucks for transport.

Beyond the environmental benefits, Eco Sound Barrier use can significantly cut project expenses. Eco Sound Barrier material costs, on average, are about 1/3 of what precast sound barriers typically run. Fewer workers and less equipment are needed. Reduced trucks and cranes are required for transportation and unloading at the jobsite, saving expenses, significant in reducing carbon foot print.

Eco Sound Barrier panels come in standard lengths of 12, 14 and 16 ft, customizable to fit particular project requirements. They also offer a sound transmission coefficient (STC) rating of up to 26. Panels come in any graphic design, e.g. ivy, brick, cobblestone, stucco. They can be painted, with 40 current color options to choose from. Colors and designs can be specified per project.

Because the finish is baked onto the panels during the manufacturing process, and not painted onsite like precast barriers, no maintenance is needed throughout the life of the sound barrier. The Eco Sound Barrier has a 20-year finish warranty. MORE INFO
