FiberMat® Type B fiberglass asphaltic reinforced stress absorbing membrane interlayer (SAMI) is placed between an existing cracked surface and a new riding surface of hot mix asphalt, micro-surfacing or slurry seal to inhibit reflective cracking.
Pavement preservation comprises CRS-1P asphalt emulsion, fiberglass strands and premium aggregate.
FiberMat® Type B seals existing cracks, and is suited for a wearing surface in rural and urban applications including wide range of traffic volumes.
